Dr. Jacob Allaeb

Dr. Jacob Allaeb spent his early childhood in Israel and was then raised in Queens, NY. He served in the United States Army and received his infantry training in Ft. Benning, GA. He graduated from the City University of New York Queens College in 2009 Cum Laude with majors in Neuroscience, psychology and biochemistry.

Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Allaeb matriculated that same year into New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Along with his degree, Dr. Allaeb was inducted into the Omega Chapter of the Omega Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. During his studies at the College of Dentistry, Dr. Allaeb served on the Graduate Commission, found a special interest in Anatomy and Oral Surgery. He also was a member of a team that focused on management of medically complex and treatment of patients with special needs.

In 2014, Dr. Allaeb completed a one year General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He cultivating his special interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery into a passion. He then went on to complete a one year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center further honing in surgical skill, medical and dental knowledge of the broad specialty.

He received his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Lincoln Hospital Medical and Mental Health Center (an affiliate of the Weill Cornell Medical College) where he completed a 4-year residency, serving as chief resident in the final year.

His rigorous training and additional years of experience allowed him to develop expertise in dental implants and full arch rehabilitation, tooth removal and management of wisdom teeth, complex bone augmentation and reconstruction, intravenous sedation and general anesthesia, facial trauma, pathology, corrective jaw surgery and management of TMJ disorders.  

Dr. Allaeb is currently Board Eligible and is pursuing certification with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is affiliated with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, The New York State Society of OMS, Connecticut Society of OMS and the American Dental Association. Dr. Allaeb is fluent in Russian, Hebrew and conversational in Spanish. He enjoys playing chess, the outdoors, spending time with family and Hockey.
